About the Artist
"I Wish I'd Asked" was created by D. Jean Hester, an artist living and working in Los Angeles. Her work is an investigation into the everyday failures and breathtaking catastrophes of human interaction and experience, through the mediums of installation, drawing, and video.
She is fascinated with humankind’s capacity to continue in the face of crises large and small, personal and political, from the simplest failure of connection between two people to large-scale crises between nations.
